Urban Link was established to:

- Foster the physical, spiritual, economic, and social transformation of the poorest urban neighborhoods through ministry partnerships.

- Provide a structure through which government and/or private organizations can channel their resources into the development of social and community projects which serve to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged people.

- Provide ethnically sensitive and financially accessible training in urban ministry and Christian community development to the multi-ethnic body of Christ.
